
Diloui Research Team
Diloui is one of six research teams within the TICELET Research Laboratory, established in 2016. The team serves as a dynamic platform for innovative inquiry at the intersection of education, language teaching methodology, quality instruction, teacher development, foreign and second language acquisition, curriculum design, and assessment. Diloui promotes interdisciplinary research that supports pedagogical advancement and contributes to the ongoing development of effective, learner-centered teaching practices.

Professor Leila Kara Mostefa-Boussena is a specialist in English Language Teaching (ELT) and Literature. She served as Head of the Department of English at Hassiba Ben Bouali University in Chlef, Algeria (2003–2009), chaired the ICT Research Laboratory TICELET (2016–2020). She previously coordinated a Magister program in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in 2014, and a Doctoral program in Anglo-Saxon Literature and Civilization ln 2017. Now, she directs the university’s Center for Foreign Language Teaching, where she promotes effective communication in English and provides specialized ESP instruction. Her areas of expertise include course and curriculum design, online language testing (placement and achievement), innovative teaching methods, TEFL, TESOL, and ESP.
She currently serves as the President of the National Pedagogical Committee for the English Module (CPNMA), responsible for developing a general English syllabus for doctoral students in STEM fields to enhance their English academic language proficiency.
She is actively engaged in international academic collaboration and served as a member of the national steering committee for the initiative Strengthening Integrated Content and Language Education in Higher Education in Algeria—a partnership between the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education, the U.S. Department of State, the Columbia Global Center, and Teachers College, Columbia University (2022–2024).
